Lowther’s Scratch Night

Our new series of Scratch nights are a chance for writers and performers to try out new pieces of performance in front of a live audience with feedback.
 
We’ll be bringing this fantastic, already established format, into our programme four times a year. Our aim it is to welcome performances of fresh, experimental theatre, dance, music, and in-progress work.
 
We want artists and groups to get involved to perform their work-in-progress. Audiences attending will have a chance to give their feedback on what they think about each piece. Helping us understand how to shape and build new work and improve practice.
 
A maximum of eight pieces will be picked for each night and some rehearsal time will be given to facilitate performance. Each piece should be a maximum of ten minutes.

Tickets for the Scratch nights are £7 including a free a glass of wine, pint of beer or soft drink.
