Headliner is the force of nature that is Christian Reilly,
Christian is one of the country’s top headline comedians and he’s garnered a reputation for barnstorming performances which leaves audiences on a laugh packed high. As former integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall, Christian’s career has taken him around the world three times. On his way, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Britain. Now a solo stand-up performer and playing all the major comedy venues in his own right, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians. He recently wrote and performed for ‘That Was Then This Is Now’ (BBC Radio 2) as musical counterpart to Richard Herring and Emma Kennedy, as well as giving his improvisation skills an outing on Radio 2’s ‘Jammin’. Other notable highlights he’s enjoyed that many a top comedian would be jealous of include: Appearing on stage with Seinfeld star Michael Richards and getting on NBC’s ‘Late Night with Conan O’ Brien’ (one of the biggest TV shows in the USA).He’s also had his own BBC radio show with the hugely-talented and multi-award winning TV comedian Richard Herring: ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’ and they’re both widely regarded as an exciting and reliable pair of comedic hands to get any crowd rolling around with laughter.
“His stand up is witty and heaving with punchlines…” Chortle

“Bill Bailey watch out, there’s a new kid on the block!” ONE4REVIEW.COM
Joining Christian we welcome back a Woofers favourite the hilarious Steve Shanyaski. Bored of his day job, Steve Shanyaski had an epiphany, walked out of the door and straight onto the comedy stage – he hasn’t looked back since. Endlessly charming, Steve’s inherent warmth and cheeky, roguish twinkle shine through his material, elevating him to quite another level as a performer. Within the first six months of his comedy career he made it through to the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedian of the Year, the North West Comedian of the Year Final, and later that year was booked to appear on the BBC7 Radio Showcase “Spanking New”. Since then he has gone from strength to strength, adding to this list of accolades by being named the Holsten Pils Comedian of the Year, and the Birmingham Comedy Festival’s Best Breaking Talent. Combining surreal observations with wildly tangential imaginings, his off-kilter set pieces have audiences fully immersed in ‘Stevie World’ as he leads them, Pied Piper-like, down the charming avenues of his inner mind. Steve is a long established and popular headliner, regularly closing at Jongleurs, The Stand, The Glees, The Frog and Bucket and many of the UK’s other top comedy nights. Following 2009’s ‘Reality Check’ Steve returned to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011 with his 4 star-reviewed show ‘Steve Shanyaski’s Life Survival Bible’. A popular choice amongst the late night festival goers, audiences left happy and glowing after an hour of his high energy quirkiness and slick confident routines. This was an opinion shared by critics, who repeatedly awarded him with 4 stars and gushing compliments.

If this wasn't enough we also have Rising star Chris Washington. Chris is taking the comedy industry and audiences alike by storm. With bags of northern charm, he’s fresh from a hugely successful debut run at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, during which he received a sparkling nomination for the coveted lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer with his solo stand-up hour, ‘Dream Big (Within Reason)’.
Since becoming Re: Play Breakthrough Comedian of the Year Winner and a finalist in the Magners New Comedy Act in 2015, Chris has proved he’s a definite one to watch, being likened to a “Peter Kay for the smartphone generation”. A favorite on the live circuit he’s already supported the likes of Jason Manford and Tom Stade on tour and recently co-hosted Jason Manford’s weekend radio show for Absolute Radio.
2018 has started with a bang for Chris, in January he brought his aforementioned Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated show to London’s Soho Theatre, followed by two sell-out shows at the Salford Lowry studio and invitations to perform at Latitude and Festival 41, Kendal Calling and Festival No. 6.
Alongside stand-up Chris also released two online sketches for BBC Three’s ‘Quickies’ series, both earning over 1 million views and becoming two of their most successful of the series. He also has another exciting scripted project in development for TV and is now a roaring hit on your TV screens, headlining his own episode ‘Live From the BBC.’
