About Us

About The Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens

Set in the beautiful Lowther Gardens in Lytham St Annes, the Lowther Pavilion Theatre has a proud history of serving the Fylde Coast and surrounding areas as a cultural hub of entertainment ever since first opening in 1921.

Since opening, we’ve welcomed performances from talent across the world including Belinda Carlisle, Jason Manford, John Bishop, Gretchen Peters, Robert Plant, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Susie Dent, Lesley Garrett, Rick Wakeman, Su Pollard, Jasper Carrott, John Culshaw, Ronnie Foster, and more!

Per year, we host 480+ shows and events, which are attended by over 95,000 people.

A New Future

In April 2025, we opened our second venue, The Windmill Performance & Education Centre. This new, £3 million building, is home to The Lions Community Space, and The Chapman Studio, our second auditorium space with a capacity of 162 seated or 350 standing.

It’s this new building that’s offering a bigger scope to help nurture creativity by providing a space to support more community led projects.

“The staff were so helpful and made the night a night to remember. I would definitely say this is the place to go for a great night’s entertainment.”
