If you are bringing a show or event to our theatre, here you will find some useful information. Whether you need the up-to-date version of our logo, information on our what marketing we do for your show, or even some basic advice on how to get the word out about your show – you will find it on this page. 

While we undertake a variety of marketing activities for our programme as a whole, with over 400 performances across our spaces over the year it is up to the visiting company, promoter or user group to take the lead on marketing their show with support from us.

Below, you will find information on what you get included with your booking as well as what additional marketing activity is available. 

What marketing do I get with my booking?

Below you will find a list of all the marketing activity we provide for free for your booking:

  • Website listing
  • Listing in relevant quarterly brochure (subject to contract being signed before print deadline)
  • Highlight in our monthly newsletter (sent to 28k+ email addresses)
  • Image listing on our foyer screens using our template (subject to artwork quality)
  • Posts on our social media
  • Poster and collateral displayed in regular rotation. Please note: we have limited poster frames, so foyer frames are changed weekly, with external poster frames being changed monthly. This is to give each show equal exposure

Individual activity available for booking

Additional marketing activity can be purchased on an individual basis:

Full database email – 28k+ emails – £120 +VAT

Segmented Customer list – up to 5k emails – £65 +VAT

 

Social Display

Feature your show on our Facebook page and have it displayed on the Lancashire Evening Post and Blackpool Gazette across Lancashire for up to 72 hours.

How it works, is we post your show on our Facebook as we normally would, but then we notify the Lancashire Evening Post and Blackpool Gazette to pull that post and display it on their websites.  

 

Social Display – £50 +VAT (per post)

 

Newspaper adverts (Lancashire Evening Post or Blackpool Gazette)

Half page – £300 +VAT

Full page – £500 +VAT

 

Flyer distribution

We can organise for your flyers to be distributed to key sites across Lancashire including other businesses for £70 +VAT per 1k flyers (without printing). Or we can offer a package that including the printing and distribution of up to 5k flyers for £400+VAT.

 

Brochure adverts 

Our next brochure will be released to cover February – June 2025. 

Full page – A5, portrait £330 +VAT*

Half page – A6 landscape £200 +VAT*

Quarter page – £120 +VAT*

Logo Files & Guidance

When using our logo, please DO NOT:

  • Stretch or alter the proportions of it
  • Add effects to our logo

Minimum logo sizes

  • A2-A0: 20mm
  • A3: 18mm
  • A4: 15mm
  • A5: 12mm
  • DL: 10mm
  • Below DL: 8mm

If you require an .ai version of the logo, please contact marketing@lowtherpavilion.co.uk.

By not following these guidelines, or providing print that we deem unsatisfactory, we reserve the right to refuse to use the printed collateral.

FAQs

No, however we can coordinate print or digital marketing adverts with artwork on your behalf and the cost, plus a 10% admin fee will be added to your final settlement.

We ask that you provide:

  • 500x A5 flyers
  • 10x A1 posters (portrait)

For print, we recommend using PNG Digital, a print company based in St Annes, Lancashire. It is also worth highlighting that when ordering print, please consider the environment and consider printing either on recycled paper stock or use a Carbon Capture Programme.

Unfortunately, with limited space in our building and in our gardens, we can’t guarantee spots or durations for posters to be up. However, if you would like to have a specific frame, you can do so charged at £25 +VAT per frame per week.

No, but we can outsource to a freelance filmmaker and editor, however, there will be a cost involved for this.

No. We no longer accept third-party banners of any kind unless with written permission from our Marketing Officer or Artistic Director.

No. We only distribute our brochures or listing posters externally. If you would like to have flyers for your show distributed, we can coordinate on your behalf for a cost of £70 +VAT per 1000. This does not include printing.

Our logo must only be downloaded from this page and via no other source, unless provided in an email directly from the Marketing team. From 01/04/2023, we will no longer be accepting print with an incorrect logo on.

Due to the nature of the job, we’re not always at our desk, so the best way to contact us is by emailing us on marketing@lowtherpavilion.co.uk.

Yes, however, we ask that you don’t turn up or call unannounced as we are a small team and often busy.

Unfortunately we don’t have the space. We will store the print we ask for (10x A1 posters and 500x A5 flyers), but we can’t store any extra unless with written permission from the marketing team. If we end up storing more than we’ve asked for, we will charge an additional £50 +VAT.

Our cornerboards are very limited space and are primarily used to advertise the theatre and gardens as a whole offer. We ask that you email marketing@lowtherpavilion.co.uk to check availability as these are not guaranteed.
