7,000 Stranded Passengers.
One Small Town.
A Remarkable True Story.
Junction Four Productions returns to The Lowther Pavilion Theatre in 2026 with the Fylde Coast premiere of the multi-award-winning musical Come From Away. Following three standout seasons at Lowther — bringing audiences Into The Woods, Young Frankenstein and Return To The Forbidden Planet — Junction Four and their creative team now set their sights on this remarkable true story, told with heart, humour and unforgettable music.
Winner of four Olivier Awards (including Best New Musical) and a Tony Award for Best Direction, this smash-hit show tells the incredible true story of 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were unexpectedly grounded in Newfoundland in the wake of 9/11 — and the small town of Gander that welcomed them with open hearts.
A true celebration of hope, humanity and unity, Come From Away is packed with soaring folk-rock music, quick-fire storytelling and unforgettable characters — as strangers become neighbours, and kindness becomes a lifeline.
A Uniquely Junction Four Experience
For this production, we’re creating an original stage design that brings you closer to the action and gives audiences a real sense of being right in the room with the story. Alongside the tiered seating, a limited number of stage-side seats will be available for each performance — offering a one-of-a-kind, up-close-and-personal perspective of the show.
Please note: these stage-side seats cannot be booked. They’re available free to any ticket holder and can be taken on the night, on a first come first served basis.
No interval…and a post-show party!
This production plays straight through with no interval, keeping the momentum and emotion building all the way to the final moment. And when the cast take their final bow, the experience continues…
Follow the band into the bar and join us for a lively post-show gathering and a traditional Newfoundland Screech-In — a spirited celebration to round off the night, hosted by the musicians and performers you’ve just seen on stage - and all included in your ticket price!
