Lowther's Summer Musical Theatre workshop involves 9 full days for young people aged 8-16 years, building skills and rehearsing a performance with a professional director, musical director, choreographer, lighting and sound designers.
The dates are Monday 11-Friday 15 August and Monday 18-Thursday 21 August. 9.30am-4pm each day, plus the evening of Thursday 21 August.
Young performers will focus on musical theatre skills alongside those who want to work on technical production skills; set design, lighting and sound.
On Thursday 21 August all participants will be part of an hour-long onstage performance of 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' for an audience! Whether you're a young dancer, singer, actor, designer or technician, this workshop will be a fantastic experience.
Directed by Lowther Pavilion’s Artistic Director Tim Lince, who directed the World Premiere of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, as well as Blood Brothers, Joseph, James and the Giant Peach and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
The Lowther Team are bringing award winning Musical Directors, Choreographers and Lighting Designers together to put on this production and pass on their skills to you!

All participants will need to wear suitable clothing and footwear for physical workshops and rehearsals.
