No matter how large or small, we are incredibly grateful if you’re thinking about leaving a legacy to our venue and gardens.

As we are a Registered Charity, no 111754, no inheritance tax is payable on the amount of your legacy gift. It is worth bearing in mind that after providing for your loved ones, you are able to leave a tax-free gift to a charity whose work you’ve enjoyed over the years.

There are two main ways you can support the Lowther Pavilion in your will:

• A Residual Legacy, which is a share or a percentage of your estate
• A Pecuniary Legacy, which is a fixed amount of money

If you already have a will and would like to include a gift to us, you can speak about your options for doing so through a solicitor.
