Learning & Community
We have a variety of ways for you to get involved and be creative. Whether you’re a parent with a young child, a young person who wants to go into further study, or an adult wanting to try their hand at something different, you’ll be able to get stuck into something new.
Our Lowther Creatives programme involves activities with and for people of all age, background and ability, from early years to adults. We believe it’s important for people to be part of something, not just attend a class. We are always happy to adapt for those needing additional support.
Lowther's Workshops & Projects
At Lowther, we offer a range of in-house workshops for all ages.
With our second venue, The Windmill Performance & Education Centre, we also offer our spaces to local community groups and creative practitioners to offer a selection of additional workshops.

Whether it’s building confidence in our youth theatre sessions, learning new skills, or finding a creative outlet, this is a chance to grow in a welcoming, professional environment.
Our Bursary Scheme will cover or subsidise the costs of a specific programme of our education work (for example, weekly youth theatre sessions).
